Euromarc built Craftsman because the New Zealand engineer deserved gear designed around how they actually work. Every product in the range earns its place one of two ways: designed by Euromarc working with Kiwi Engineers, or sourced and tested against the standard the New Zealand engineer needs.
Once a product has been brought to market, we don’t stop improving it. Products like the 505 Safety Glasses and the 175 Leather Jacket have been through multiple design generations, with improvements based off feedback from Kiwi Engineers. Craftsman earns its place in our range the same way every brand does: tested, used, and backed before it ever reaches a customer’s workshop.

The CRAFTSMAN 202 Earplug was born from feedback from our customers to have a softer Class 5 earplug that could be worn all day. Working with a manufacturer on the product, and packaging, we delivered a high quality, softer earplug that still meets the Class 5 rating.

The 505 started as a solid pair with plastic arms and lenses. About five years ago it was rebuilt: a plastic/rubber hybrid arm that’s rigid but flexes where it needs to, a wider frame for larger faces, a bigger lens that sits better on the cheeks, and a higher-rated anti-fog and anti-scratch coating. Multiple design generations, same product line.

In Craftsman’s early days, Euromarc identified the two most common ways gloves fail in an engineering environment: leather wearing through and ripping, and cotton stitching melting under heat and spark exposure. Euromarc went directly to manufacturers with its own spec — fit for the New Zealand hand, Premium A-grade cowhide, Kevlar stitching. The result is a high quality, more comfortable glove that lasts the distance in engineering environments.
